it had been quite a week. but I am glad one obstacle has been overcome. Yesterday was my first encounter with my first set of participants. All 25 or so heads from all over the country. It had been quite an experience. The first few moments were quite nerve wrecking. But after that it was quite ok. i was my usual self, lots of body language, humor here and there. Some play acting here and there.
i am not too sure how the participants reacted. but my senior co partner was quite impressed. He thought i was a natural and I handled it well. Of course there were congratulatory handshakes from my colleagues who were sitting in the class. Too many of them.Almost 15 or so in numbers.
And the day after.They are still talking about it. Quite embarrassing pula la.Words got around to those who were not in that class. and they too were quite impressed after hearing from those who attended.
Hope I didn't offend anyone. If so, expect to be called up come Monday.
Oh well, maybe I am being paranoid. what with the warnings and inputs those veterans were telling us. The dos and donts . Maybe that was what was making me a bit nervous.
even now penning all those thoughts into words is giving me doubtful moments.
oh well, what's done is done.
Sometimes, one can't afford to play safe all the time. Provoke once or twice to wake everyone up. The truth hurts.
