It has been a good 24 hour Monday. Lots of stuff completed . Mission almost accomplished.

For the first time, the hours seemed to take its time to finish its 1 day cycle .

Having said that, a slight guilt looming. I couldn't accommodate my good friend's request to the saloon. Sorry, cause then it would mean upsetting my planned schedule. Sorry I have to be selfish this time around.

I have to . I need to. I want to.

Hmm...school holidays is just round the corner. And my work schedule is getting to be kinda of tight now. Next week will the beginning of marathon hours of teaching which will stretch right to mid December.

I am trying to be selective in my teaching topics but I suppose being from the practitioners pool , I am in a position where most of the topics are close to home. But having said that, its the hours of preparation before the class that is sapping all my energy and time.

So, am I complaining?

Yes and no.

Yes because of the workload involved.

No. when I am class , in front of all those school heads, knowing that I have a lot of sharing to do, looking at their eager responses and all, all those time spend preparing even if its just for a 2 hour session is all worth it.

Today my best friend, my sister, my counsellor, my buddy in times of joy and in times of sorrow is leaving for the holy land, Mecca to perform her hajj with her husband.

Dear Sal. I hope you will have a safe journey. I hope your pilgrimage will be a journey of reconciliation of both mind and body to the Almighty. May you find the inner peace and happiness , the joy of it all.

I will pray for your good will and well being. Looking forward to your coming home .

I can't help but feel disappointed over yesterday's theatre performance. To tell the story of a person of such magnitude, an icon, a legend, I was expecting the gathering of the best in the country, that is the best director, the best projection with the smoothest transition of scenes. Of course the songs were well sung, the dances were well choreographed but somehow, the X factor was not there.

It was quite a let down. Of course, the excuses that there was so much to tell cannot be accepted. The director made a lot of assumptions, that the audience were in the know about a lot of things.

Was just wondering. Has the legend himself seen this performance? Wonder what his thoughts would be.

When you are about to be bitten, you put out your claws and wait for that first bite.

But in the meanwhile prove your worth .

It worked.
