Dear Rufa,

Sorry for thinking that you are 48 today. But then again, this is typical of me.My trademark, my flaws, otherwise its not your kak cik.

I have always thought since I am getting on with my age, everyone else should be going through the same phase. Forgot that you are 3 sisters and one brother gap difference in age. Or is it 3 sisters only. Who is older now? You or Aziz? Oh dear.

That brings me to the next thing which I will never remember until the day I kaput. and that is Mah and Azizah. I can never make out who is the elder of them two. They are going to be upset once again if they read this posting.Sorry.

Hmm... one person whose age I will never forget is Dah, since we are only 2 years apart. That too , I fumbled on one occasion.

So, there are 3 of us sisters celebrating our birthday in April- me, Dah and Rufa. Read about 22 nd April being the beginning of Taurus. But I think you have a lot of Aries in you Rufa. With many more years of service ahead of you, I do hope the day will come when you will do us proud by being the head of your department on the highest grade conferred upon a civil servant. You have inherited the work ethics of arwah pak. But of course, its in the genes. In all of us. But you and Azizah , I think can make it way up to the top in the civil service.

I pray that you will carry on pak's legacy of doing things by the rules and not compromising on your principles. Its not easy at times. But both of you have what it takes.I know it and I believe it.

Wish father was here to witness all of our successes, no matter how big or small they may be.The sacrifices that both he and Mak did for the the sake of their children's future. I pray for the Almighty for his mercy and blessings to be bestow upon both of them.

I wished I was given the chance to prove my worth. But crony-ism is not the rule of my game. But then again I am happy where I am now. Its giving back time. Sharing my experiences with the upcoming leaders of the schools. I couldn't have asked for a better opportunity than right now.

So Rufa Dear. Happy 43rd Birthday. I wish you lots and lots of happiness and love. Thank you for always being there when I needed most. Thank you for taking that extra mile to come see me on that morning . I had no idea you came without breakfasting. You have a very good and understanding husband and lovely lovely children. Love him well.Love them well too.

Happy Happy Birthday. I Love you.
