Goodbye to another great icon

Didn't think that i could be greatly affected by the passing of MJ until i watched this morning's memorial service. He was kinda weird and freaky lately. But the showers of good words and also first hand information especially from Brooke Shields has revealed a side of him that was never made news material. Such a sad ending to a once great career. Once on top of the world with his brand of music, his moonwalk- white gloved and crotch grabbing moves copied all over the world by wannabes. Now that he is gone, people the world over are heaping praises and tributes to his great work and songs. But there is no denying that there will never be another MJ for the next 1oo years to come. He is one of a kind. A fantastic performer and person obssessed with perfections. And perfect he was, in his songs and dance moves , if not his personal life. Too much amplication of his personal life which was potrayed as weird and sometimes absurd.
The songs he sang and danced to are phenomenal. I can go on saying the same thing over and over again.
Come to think of it, almost all great individuals are mortalised early in their lives.
