The Struggle.
Yes, the struggle of the majority of ordinary citizens of this country to ensure continuity of life during this hard and challenging times. The struggle by the ordinary folks to make sure that at the end of the day, there is food on the table, enough to be savoured by every member of the family. The struggle to find ways and means to earn that extra ringgit, to stretch that extra ringgit so that not only there be food on the table, that there be enough left to pay for the house rent, for the electric and water bills, for transport and other basics.
Many have been retrenched, lost their jobs for good.
If one has school going children , there is the additional struggle amongst parents to find that extra fund to ensure that their children are given the hardware to enable the new norm in teaching and learning online! Laptops, smart phones, data all require money! And more money if there is more than one child per family where online sessions are run all at the same time!
Are those people up there aware that there are kids who have been missing learning (almost 2 years now) because their parents simply cannot afford any of those fancy gadgets?
The struggle to keep oneself healthy in mind , body and soul. Cooped up in their dens for long periods of time. The law abiding citizens, that is. But of course , there is an exception to the rules imposed on certain quarters ya..
And the list goes on….Almost every other person, our family members, our neighbour , our small business shop owners .. they all have their experiences and .story to tell Well, that is the struggle by the ordinary folks, almost 30 millions of us, some very badly affected, some affected on a milder scale.
Unlike the struggle that one reads on the social media by another group . About 400 of you ?? So what exactly is your struggle?
