25th May 2021- 7 Jun 2021. That was the initial lockdown period for MCO 3.0. And it’s already the 10th today!
Is it truly over ?
Well looking at the daily reports from the National Security Unit ( Majlis Keselamatan Negara) the daily big numbers is most alarming indeed.
What happened to us ya? where did we go wrong? From clusters based pandemics to widespread community pandemics!
As of 9.6.2021, the MKN reported 6,239 new cases with 75 new deaths, 905 in the ICU and 453 on life support machine.
What happen really? Whom do we point our fingers to? The policy makers or is it just us?
With all sorts of theories regarding this virus circulating in the social media. With all sorts of excuses from us to cross borders inter district and inter state . I read in the news 200,000 people managed to travel home during the Eid celebration. How did they do that?
With the social media circulating news on certain elites , the double standard treatments given to certain groups of people, the ‘unfair’ treatment perceived by the people that is imposed on us the non-elites. The exhaustive instructions on the different states of lockdown is all too much to take in. PKP,PPKP,PKPB . What are the differences? Can anyone give a few key points to differentiate all these 3 terms? Is any more terms that I have missed out?
Personally I am exhausted toeing the line. Staying home . I try to play my part. #Kitajagakita
#stayhomestaysafe. But how many are toeing the line? How many out there still made it to their grandchildren’s home 40 km away? How do we know that they are not the silent carriers of the new variant? How many out there are getting away not following the SOP?
Selfish and self-centred , not caring that their decisions affect others. Their own convenience is all that matters.
