Cerita kelmarin dulu:
Salute kak!
Going back to those days when we sisters would accompany kak on her annual Cancer month ( October it is) event di Bukit Jalil. We were all there to give our support. Siap buat banner lagi untuk berarak keliling padang ! It was an eye opener event for most of us. To hear of members who didn’t make it in that particular year, it was heartbreaking indeed.
And currently, the numbers stands at 3 in the family. Cancer, the silent killer. No noticeable early symptoms. Sometimes a cancer diagnosis comes out of the blue, with no symptom at all. And they can be aggressive and deadly once they strike. Detection during early stages can provide an oppurtunity to remove the tumour surgically.
So, how do you know you have the C cells in you? Here are some of the early signs you should not ignore:
· Unexplained weight loss
§ Fatigue that doesn’t seem to get better with rest.
§ Fever
§ Pain : persistent pain.
§ skin changes

When in doubt, go see your local GP. Apparently betweeen 30-50% of all cancer cases are preventable. Let us make healthy choices…
